Problem
Apply research and usability testing to the design process to inform decision making. Mapping out key representatives for feedback, tracking metrics with our sales force and adjusting when the opportunity presented itself was ambitious—but doable. This is a new concept to K2.
Intention
Define the design direction for the product season. Utilize research to inform design decisions. Translate direction to all in-line products and marketing assets.
Approach
Design sprint to flush out global design direction for the K2 Brand, in conjunction with two other designers. Present polished concepts to internal stakeholders for approval. Apply approved direction through all Snowboard product.
